How it works

Tell us the shift. Times, unit, skill mix, and anything the person needs to be credentialed on before they start. We go first to clinicians who have worked your site before, which is why most requests come back with a name the same day. Urgent night cover is usually under two hours.

Registration, screening, immunisation and induction are verified before we confirm, and the evidence reaches your credentialing team with the booking rather than turning up afterwards. Regional placements include the travel and the accommodation, booked by us. What lands in your inbox is a name, a mobile number and an arrival time.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and Everly submit to the courts of Victoria and the courts able to hear appeals from them.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published when you visit is the one that applies to that visit.

Privacy policy

Everly Health Pty Ltd handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

If you use the enquiry form, we collect your name, contact details, discipline and whatever you tell us about the shifts you want or need filled.

If you go on to work through us, we collect a good deal more: registration and qualification details, screening and police check outcomes, working with children clearances, immunisation records, referees, and tax and superannuation details. We collect this because we cannot lawfully place you without it.

If you are a health service, we collect the contact and site details we need to arrange cover and invoice for it.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, to match clinicians to shifts, to verify that anyone we place is qualified and cleared to work, to pay people, and to meet obligations placed on us by law and by the health services we supply.

Sensitive information

Some of what we hold — immunisation status and health-related records in particular — is sensitive information under the Privacy Act. We collect it only with your consent, or where a law or a health service’s credentialing requirements oblige us to.

Who we share it with

Health services and facilities we place you with, for credentialing and rostering. Screening and verification bodies, including Ahpra and police and working with children check providers. Our own software and payroll providers, who are bound to use it only to deliver those services to us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else’s marketing.

How we hold it

Records are kept in access-controlled systems and staff see only what their role requires. Some of the software we use to run rostering, payroll and email stores data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take the steps the Australian Privacy Principles require to make sure it stays protected.

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and for as long as employment, tax and health records law requires, then destroy or de-identify it.

If something goes wrong

If personal information we hold is lost or accessed without authorisation, and it is likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see what we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date. Email admin@everly.au and we will respond within 30 days.

If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first at admin@everly.au so we can look into it. If we don’t respond within 30 days, or you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Complaints to the OAIC must be made in writing — there is a form at oaic.gov.au, and their enquiries line is 1300 363 992.

This website

The enquiry form sends only what you type into it. We don’t run advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

If you dismiss the notice at the bottom of the page, we store a single value in your browser’s local storage so it doesn’t reappear. It contains no personal information, it is never sent to us, and clearing your browsing data removes it. If we ever add analytics, we will ask your consent first and update this policy.
